Community Volunteer Events - Help Restore Native Habitat

When: There are currently no One-Day Volunteer Events coming up.

What: Come get dirty with us! Let's stop the seed bank of invasive species before they displace vital native plant habitat. We will also help animal species by planting Coastal Sage Scrub habitat which will provide habitat for the Ridgway's rail and stopover browsing for migratory birds.

Who: Open to the public. All ages welcome. Volunteers under 18 must bring signed permission forms, available here. Volunteers under 16 must attend with an adult.

Where: Tijuana Estuary Visitor Center, 301 Caspian Way, Imperial Beach, CA  91932

What to wear/bring? Volunteers must work in long pants and boots or sturdy, closed-toe shoes. We also recommend bringing sunscreen, sunglasses, and hats. Work gloves, tools, and water will be provided.
