Volunteer at the Tijuana Estuary for Earth Day
When: Earth Day, Saturday, April 22 from 8:30am to Noon
What: Help! Native plants aren’t the only thing in bloom; the rain also means more weeds. Restore valuable habitat by weeding and planting in our native plant gardens.
Who: Open to the public. All ages welcome. Volunteers under 18 yrs of age must have a signed waiver by parent or guardian and those under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Where: Tijuana Estuary Visitor Center, 301 Caspian Way, Imperial Beach, CA 91932
What to wear/bring? Volunteers must work in long pants and boots or sturdy, closed-toe shoes. We also recommend bringing sunscreen, sunglasses, and hats. Work gloves, tools, and water will be provided.
