Get involved with the Tijuana Estuary
Whether you have just a few hours to give or if you want to volunteer on a regular basis, the Tijuana River National Estuarine Research Reserve has many opportunities for people of all ages. Volunteers are essential to our mission, helping to steward the land, educate the public, assist with select aspects of research, and ensure that visitors to the Reserve have a quality experience.
Help us keep our estuary clean and safe for visitors by restoring native habitat and removing trash and debris.
Become an educational docent, a steward, or help us with field work and lab research.
We can work with your organization to craft a one-day or on-going project that offers a balance of community service and a team experience.
