Service Learning Projects and Research Projects can also be arranged.

A view of the Estuary with the city of Imperial Beach in the background
The Tijuana River Estuary abuts right up to the city of Imperial Beach in South San Diego. Being the largest coastal wetland in So Cal, it provides a wonderful green space for the community just steps away from people's houses.

Plan your visit

Interested groups should call at least 4 weeks in advance to make a reservation and discuss the objectives of the visit with the education staff. Programs are generally 2 hours in length, but depend upon your group’s objectives. Binoculars are provided for the group to use. Programs are provided FREE of charge.
